About the Author
Tessa Marie lives in the same town she grew up in on Long Island, NY with her longtime boyfriend and their fish. Her debut novel (NEVER) AGAIN, a NA romance, released in Fall 2013 with Berkley (Penguin) and (ONCE) AGAIN released this summer under her real name, Theresa Paolo. She is also the coauthor of the Amazon bestseller KING SIZED BEDS AND HAPPY TRAILS and BEACH SIDE BEDS AND SANDY PATHS, a YA contemporary series. She has a hard time accepting the fact she’s nearing thirty, and uses her characters to relive the best and worst years of her life. She put her love of writing on hold while she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Dowling College. Prove Me Wrong

Hailey is such a strong girl and I loved reading about her. She had a baby and is raising her son along with the help of her mom. Having a kid so young, usually comes with stares, whispers, being called a number of things and so on. Basically its tough having at kid period, but having one when your young can be even tougher. So Hailey and her mom decided to move. Her mom says to keep her son a secret and hopefully she can have a chance at normal.
Then there's Luke. Hes the bad boy who can usually get the ladies easily and plans on leaving school before senior year. Then he spots Hailey and everything changes. He wants her, but she won;t be easy to win over. But can he ditch his reputation and be committed to one person? Well he surprised me, thats for sure. He does try to get her and at one point even spills his guts to her! Like every damn thing, so her earned some cool points there. Love a guy who can turn around and become a really kind and committed.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Yeah Hailey may be keeping a lot of secrets, but try to see it her way and understand. Once you do, you will enjoy watching these two get to know each other and trying to become something. Oh and Brady is just the cutest! You will love this little boy and love how good of a mother Hailey is.

A great read!

Loved the realistic take on a teen Mom....you really got to see her struggle with her love for her child, but her resentment over her loss of teenagerhood. I thought it was portrayed quite well, not too overboard with angst, just the perfect amount so that you really felt for Hailey and understood her struggles. Loved that she still had her BFF to talk to occasionally. Was only so-so on the Mom...I sort of understood her motives in wanting to keep it a secret, but as the adult she should have known better.
Luke was a bit of a surprise too! I liked that we got to know the inner workings of him and some of the reasons he turned out how he did (kind of bad boy-esque). The slacker in school vs the hard worker at work initially rubbed me wrong, but it made sense in that he had a skewed sense of priorities (not believing that he would go to College, etc). I really appreciated that Ms. Marie didn't leave us hanging about his father...the rest of that story really added to Luke's story and I love having that further explanation of why he left, etc.
The love was a bit too quick to come for me....would have liked to see them hanging out a bit more beforehand, but that might not have fit with the pacing of the book. Super sweet ending though, all in all a great read!

4.5 stars for the sweet and thoughtful romance. Hailey is a single mom, she got pregnant at 15 and is raising her baby with help from her mom. When she moves to a new town with her mom, her mom advises her to not tell anyone she has a baby so that she can enjoy life as a normal teenage girl and not have to deal with the stigma of being a teen mom. That's the plan but when she meets Luke, everything changes. She's not looking for a relationship but there's something about Luke that she connects with. I loved Luke and how sweet he could be with his friends and with Hailey. What I found really interesting is the perspective from a teen mom. I think some people might not like Hailey when they read this book because she keeps her son a secret but I get where she's coming from and I felt so bad for her especially how she struggled with wanting to tell the truth. This book was sweet and had a really interesting storyline and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to read more by this author!
