Enjoyable

This is the sequel to The Tin Fish Run, and continues the story of seaman Lobby Ludd, the least socially adept teen-ager in the British Isles. The story is good, with the added fillip of the moral dilemmas of both the British and German forces. After the first of the series, I was able to follow the language of the enlisted personnel better. I think the author could haqve done a better job of naming the American ships consistent with WW II practices, but all in all, it was an enjoyable read.

This is the second book I have read by this author and both have been interesting and enjoyable. Serious and funny in parts. The language and slang take some getting used to, but that is the fun in reading this author's work. I'm looking forward to the next one, even thou I'm not reading them in order. Enjoy
